Amendment of section 11, Rajasthan Act No. 6 of 2017.

For the existing sub-section

1. (2) of section 11 of the principal Act, the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(2) The Board of Management shall consist of the following, namely:-
   • (i) the Vice-Chancellor Ex-officio Chairman;
   • (ii) the Secretary to the Government in- Ex-officio

charge of the Department of Skill, Member;

Employment and Entrepreneurship or his nominee not below the rank of Deputy Secretary

1. (iii) the Secretary to the Government in- Ex-officio

charge of the Department of Member;

Finance or his nominee not below the rank of Deputy Secretary

1. (iv) the Secretary to the Government Ex-officio

in-charge of the Department of Member;

Technical Education or his nominee not below the rank of Deputy Secretary

1. (v) the Secretary to the Government in- Ex-officio

charge of the Department of Member;

Industries or his nominee not below the rank of Deputy Secretary

1. (vi) the Commissioner of Rajasthan Ex-officio

Skill and Livelihoods Development Member;

Corporation

1. (vii) one Member of the Rajasthan Members; Legislative Assembly to be nominated by the Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly
2. (viii) two eminent educationists from the Members; field of Skill Education to be nominated by the State Government
3. (ix) two industrialists to be nominated Members; by the State Government
4. (x) one Director to be nominated by Member;

the Vice- Chancellor

1. (xi) one Dean to be nominated by Member;

the Vice- Chancellor

1. (xii) one Professor to be nominated by Member;

the Vice- Chancellor

1. (xiii) Registrar Ex-officio Member- Secretary. Explanation.- For the purposes of this sub-section, the expression "Secretary to the Government in-charge" means the Secretary to the Government in-charge of a department and includes an Additional Chief Secretary and a Principal Secretary when he is in-charge of that department.".
