Appointment of Visiting Professors

Notwithstanding anything contained in section 51, the Board of Management shall be competent to invite on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor, a person of high academic distinction and professional attainments to accept the post of visiting Professor in the University on such terms and conditions, as may be mutually agreed upon for a period not exceeding one year at a time.
