Statutory text
Prison leave shall be granted to eligible convicted prisoners, in accordance with the provisions of the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962 (Punjab Act No. 11 of 1962) and the rules, namely the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Rules, 1963 made under the said Act.
