Penalty for falsely pretending to be a registered practitioner

Statutory text
Every person who falsely pretends to be a registered practitioner shall, whether any person is actually deceived by such pretence or not, be liable to be punished on conviction by a [Judicial Magistrate] of the first class with fine that may extend to three hundred rupees.
