Eviction from municipal property

18. (1) Wherever a municipal property is under unauthorized occupation, the Officer of the Municipality shall make a reference for eviction of such unauthorized occupants to the Tribunal or officer authorised under section 17 of this Act.

1. (2) The Tribunal or officer shall pass an appropriate order within sixty days from the date of receipt of a reference referred to in sub-section (1).
2. (3) An eviction order passed by the Tribunal or officer shall be final.
