Obligation of permit by the intermediary

(1) An intermediary, who is desirous of undertaking any activity under the provisions of this Act except the activities mentioned in sections 5 and 6 thereof, shall make an application to the State Government for grant of a permit to undertake such activity. (2) On receipt of an application under sub-section (1), the State Government may consider and grant a permit on such terms and conditions as it may deem appropriate or may reject such application and the decision for rejection of the State Government shall be final.
