The Nalini Devi Women's College of Education (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1991
The Nalini Devi Women's College of Education (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1991
This Act provides for the takeover of the management and properties of the Nalini Devi Women's College of Education in Bhubaneswar by the Government of Orissa. It transfers all movable and immovable assets of the college to the state government and replaces the previous governing body with a government-appointed administrator. Former management members receive no financial compensation for losing office and must hand over all documents, funds, and property. Importantly, teaching and non-teaching staff employed at the college as of April 1, 1990, are absorbed into government service. This legislation ensures official state oversight, institutional stability, and job protection for eligible college employees.
