The Registrar

(1) The appointment of the Registrar shall be made by the President in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) All contracts shall be signed and all documents and records shall be authenticated by the Registrar on behalf of the University. (3) The Registrar shall be responsible for the due custody of the records and the common seal of the University and shall be bound to place necessary documents before the President or the Vice-Chancellor or any other authority for transaction of their business. (4) The Registrar shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed or required by resolutions of the Board of Governors.
