Short Title and Commencement

(1) These rules may be called the Odisha Municipal Services (General) Rules, 2016. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Odisha Gazette. (3) These rules shall apply to all persons covered under the services constituted under section 3 of the Act except the categories of persons employed in Work Charged establishment or menial establishment or on daily wages or on contract or consolidated pay or the employment is casual in nature.
