Divesting of Water reservoirs already settled

B. Notwithstanding any judgment, decree or order of any Court, Tribunal or other authority, the settlement of any water reservoir of the description mentioned in the proviso to sub-section

1. (1) of section 5 made under that section prior to the date of commencement of the Orissa Merged Territories (Village Offices Abolition) Amendment Act, 1976, shall be of no effect whatsoever; and all such water reservoirs shall, for all intents and purposes, be deemed to have vested absolutely in the State Government free from all encumbrances.
