In section 3 of the Orissa Grama Panchayats (Postponement of Election) Act,

1990 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), in clause (a) of sub-section (1), for the figures, letters and word “31 st May, 1990”, the figures, letters and word “31 st December, 1909” shall be substituted. Amendment of Section 3. Orissa Act 7 of 1990.

3. (1) The Orissa Panchayats (Postponement of Election) Amendment Ordinance, 1990 is hereby repealed. Reveal and savings. Orissa Ordinance No.4 of 1990.

1. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the principal Act as amended by the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the principal Act as amended by this Act.
