Delegation of Power

The State Government may, by order delegate any of its powers of functions under this Act or the rules made thereunder, except those conferred under Section (3) of Section 1 and Section 21 to any officer or authority not below the rank of an Assistant Conservator of forests who shall exercise or perform the same, subject to such conditions and restrictions as the State Government may specify in the order.
