Implication of the Development Scheme
The Nagaland Town and Country Planning Act, 1966(1) The Scheme shall come into force from such date as may be fixed by the government in sanctioning the scheme and shall be implemented by such authority as may be authorized by the State Government in that behalf. (2) No person shall within the area for which the government has sanctioned a Development Scheme, erect or proceed with any building or work or remove or alter or make additions or make any substantial repair to building or a part of it, a compound wall or any drainage work or any earth work or change the use of any land or building except on permission of the authority on applicant submitted for the purpose. Unless the permission has been refused within one month from the date of receipt of the application is shall be presumed that the permission has been given.
