Repeal & Savings.

(1) All notifications, Regulations and Orders issued to extend or to in force the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure V of 1898 and Assam Frontier Administration of Justice Regulation I of 1945 are hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal— if immediately before the date on which this Act comes into force, there is any appeal, application, trial, inquiry or investigation pending, then such appeal, application, trial, inquiry or investigation shall be disposed of, continued, held or made, as the case may be, in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, and the Assam Frontier Administration of Justice Regulation, 1955 as they were in force immediately before the commencement of this Act as if this Act has not come into force.
