Statutory text
After the existing clause 1 of section 8, the following subclauses shall be inserted: (a) An amount not exceeding a maximum of Rs. 1 lakh will be granted to the members subject to the seriousness of the case of the patient. (b) An amount not exceeding Rs. 25,000 will be granted to the deceased family member of an Ex-Member. (c) An amount of Rs. 15,000 will be granted in case of any unfortunate natural calamities.
