Power to Delegate

The Lokayukta or Upa-Lokayukta may, by general or special order in writing, direct that any power conferred or duties imposed on him by or under this Act (except the power to make report to the appropriate authority, or the power to punish for contempt or to order prosecution of public servant under section 26) may also be exercised or discharged by such of the officers, employees, agencies referred to in Section 17, 18 or 27 as may be specified in the order.
