Issue of Certificate to the employees of Fire and Emergency Service

(1) Every person shall on appointment to the Fire and Emergency Service, receive a certificate in the prescribed form under the signatures of the Director or an officer authorized In this behalf by the State Government and thereupon such person shall have the powers, functions and privileges of an employee of the Fire and Emergency Service under this Acts (2) The certificate referred to in subsection (1) shall cease to have effect when the person named therein 04,ses'-foriq reason to be an employee of the Fire and Emergency Service and on his, ceasing to be' such employee, he shall forthwith surrender the certificate to any officer receive the same A certificate of appointment shall become null and void when the person named therein ceases to belong to the Fire and Emergency Service or shall remain inoperative during the period such person. is suspended from the Fire and Emergency Service
