Establishment of a Contingency Fund.

(1) A Contingency Fund in the nature of an imprest shall be established and shall be entitled the Contingency Fund of the State of Nagaland hereinafter called the Contingency Fund. (2) The Fund shall be held on behalf of the Governor by the Secretary to the Government of Nagaland in the Finance Department, and no advance shall be made out of such Fund except for the purpose of meeting unforeseen expenditure pending authorization of such expenditure by the Legislature under appropriations made by law.
