Definitions

Definitions: In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires -

1. (a) "Department" means the Public Health Engineering Department of the Government;
2. (b) "Government" means the State Government of Mizoram;
3. (c) "Ground Floor" means the floor at the level of the ground other than the basement floor of the building;
4. (d) "person" means a natural person and it shall include artificial or juristic person;
5. (e) "prescribed" means prescribed under the Rules;
6. (f) "Rules" means rules framed under the Act.
