The Meghalaya Regulation of Gaming (Repeal) Act, 2023

(1) This Act may be called the Meghalaya Regulation of Gaming (Repeal) Act, 2023. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Meghalaya. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.

The Meghalaya Regulation of Gaming Act, 2021 (Act No. 9 of 2021) is hereby repealed.

(1) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Act so repealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act. (2) The repeal of the Act shall not affect any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under the Act so repealed.
