The Meghalaya Regulation of Gaming (Repeal) Act, 2023

This Act formally repeals the Meghalaya Regulation of Gaming Act, 2021 to remove that old regulation from the books. It extends to the entire state of Meghalaya and takes effect on a date chosen by the state government through official proclamation. Although the specific law has been abolished, existing legal situations continue—any actions or rights acquired under the repealed legislation remain valid and unaffected by the new repeal, ensuring continuity for those already engaged under the previous rules.
