Statutory text
- (1) This Act may be called the Meghalaya Identification, Registration (Safety & Security) of Migrant Workers Act, 2020.
- (2) It extends to the whole of Meghalaya.
- (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
- (4) It applies to all establishments in the State irrespective of the number of Migrant Workers engaged or employed.
