Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) "Government Chief Whip" means a member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly or a Minister designated by the Chief Minister as the Government Chief Whip in the Legislative Assembly;

1. (b) words and expressions not defined herein and defined in the Salaries and Allowances of Ministers (Manipur) Act, 1972 (Manipur Act No. 3 of 1972) shall have the same meaning respectively as are assigned to them in that Act.
