Definitions.

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires— (a) "Assembly" means the Legislative Assembly of Manipur; (b) "Deputy Speaker" means the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly; (c) "Member" means member of the Assembly not being the Chief Minister or a Minister ; (d) "Speaker" means the Speaker of the Assembly; and (e) words and expression not defined herein and defined in the Salaries and Allowances of Ministers (Manipur) Act, 1972 shall have the meaning respectively assigned to them in that Act.
