Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires :— (a) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the (Hill Areas Committee) ; (b) "Hill Areas Committee" means the Hill Areas Committee constituted by paragraph 3 of the Manipur Legislative Assembly (Hill Areas Committee) Order, 1972 ; (c) Words and expression not defined herein and defined in the Salaries and Allowances of Ministers (Manipur) Act, 1972 shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in that Act.
