Power to investigate and recommend action in certain cases

The Ombudsman shall have the power to investigate and recommend action in complaints or grievance regarding abuse of office, corruption, maladministration against the Panchayat/District Council or its members is alleged. In all such cases, Ombudsman shall send his report to the Governor for further action.
