This Act amends the Manipur Reservation of Vacancies in Posts and Services Act to improve reservation for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. It deletes two sections from the original law and increases the percentage of direct recruitment from fifty to seventy-five percent. The legislation also reduces examination fees for candidates from these communities to one quarter of the original amount. Furthermore, it establishes a Standing Committee to oversee implementation and makes administrative heads responsible for disciplinary action if they fail to follow the law's provisions.
