Be it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Sixty-sixth year ofthe Republic ofIndia as follows: 1. (1) This Act may becalled the Manipur Public Service Commission (Additional Functions) Amendment Act, 2015. In section 2 of the Manipur Public Service Commission (Additional Functions) Act (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), 2014 after clause (b), the following new clause (bb) shall be inserted, namely,- "(bb) "Government Company" means a company as defined in clause (45) of section 2 of the Companies Act, 2013 (Act 18 of 2013), in which not less than fifty-one percent of the paid share capital is held by the Government of Manipur as specified in Schedule-II appended to this Act;".

In section 3 of the Principal Act, for the words "local authorities" and "local authority" wherever they occur, the words "local authority and Government Company'' shall be substituted.

For section 4 of the Principal Act, the following shall be substituted, namely.- "4. Power to add or omit from the list of local authority and Government Company,- The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, add to or omit from the list of local authority or Government Company specified in the Schedule I or Schedule II respectively."

For clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Principal Act, the following shall be substituted, namely,- "(a) the procedure to be followed by the local authorities and Government Company for consultation with the Commission;"

After SCHEDULE-I the following SCHEDULE-II shall be inserted, namely,- "SCHEDULE-II SL No. Name of the Government Company 1. Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited 2. Manipur State Power Company Limited"
