Amendment of section 7

The existing section 7 of the Principal Act shall be renumbered as sub-section (1) thereof and in sub-section (1) as so renumbered for the words “State Government”, the words “revenue commissioner” shall be substituted and the following shall be inserted as sub-section (2) after sub-section (1) so renumbered, namely— “(2) All Revenue Officers in the Settlement Department shall be subordinate to the Director of Settlement and Land Records,”.
