Statutory text
(1) Any offence under this Act shall be tried by a Magistrate of the First Class; (a) No court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act except on a report in writing of the facts constituting such offences by a Fishery Officer or any other person or class of persons authorised by the State Govt. in this behalf.
