Powers and functions of State Committee.

The State Committee shall exercise the following powers and perform the following functions, namely :-

1. (a) to monitor the protection provided to the witnesses under the Act ;
2. (b) to give necessary directions to District Committees and the police stations for protection to the witnesses ;
3. (c) any other powers and functions as may be prescribed.
