Factors to be considered for protection to witnesses.

The concerned Committee shall consider the following factors while giving protection to the witnesses,-

1. (a) the nature of the case ;
2. (b) importance of witnesses in the case ;
3. (c) the degree of perception of threat to witnesses ;
4. (d) previous record of the witnesses ;
5. (e) any other factors as may be prescribed.
