Shree Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) (Amendment) Act, 2017
Shree Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) (Amendment) Act, 2017
The Shree Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Act, 2004, establishes a formal legal framework for the administration of the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple. It replaces the previous private trust with a government-constituted Management Committee responsible for overseeing the temple's properties, funds, and daily operations. The Act mandates transparency, requires annual audits, and empowers the State Government to supervise the Committee's decisions. For the ordinary citizen, this ensures that the offerings and donations made at the temple are managed efficiently, used for public welfare, and protected from mismanagement, thereby preserving the administrative integrity of this significant religious institution.
