Statutory text
The rights to trees specially those reserved by the Code, the Indian Forest Act, 1927, or any other law for the time being in force, shall vest in the State Government and nothing in this Act shall in any way affect the right of the State Government to apply the provisions of the Indian Forest Act, 1927, as in force in the Reorganisation State of Bombay, excluding the transferred territories to forests in any of the estates.
