Preamble. Preamble WHEREAS it is expedient to abolish exemption from the payment of land revenue enjoyed by the holders of certain estates in the island of Salsette in the Bombay Suburban and Thana Districts in the State of Bombay and to provide for certain other matters hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows :—
