Power to adapt Mah. XXIII of 1967 or this Act

For the purpose of facilitating the establishment of a separate university under this Act, the State Government may, before the expiration of one year from the date of passing of this Act, by order make such adaptations, and modifications in the Maharashtra Agricultural University (Krishi Vidyapeeth) Act, 1967, or this Act, whether by way of repeal or amendment as may be necessary or expedient; and thereupon the relevant Act shall have effect subject to the adaptations and modifications so made until altered, repealed or amended by a competent Legislature or other competent authority.
