The Bombay Hindu Women's Rights to Property (Extension to Agricultural Land) Act, 1947

(1) This Act may be called the Bombay Hindu Women's Rights to Property (Extension to Agricultural Land) Act, 1947. (2) It extends to the whole of the Province of Bombay.

Notwithstanding any rule of Hindu law or custom to the contrary, the Hindu Women's Rights to Property Act, 1937, shall apply to agricultural land in the Province of Bombay as it applies to property other than agricultural land.

The Bombay Hindu Women's Rights to Property (Extension to Agricultural Land) Ordinance, 1947, is hereby repealed.
