Statutory text

(1) Whenever any notified drug is sold, possessed or transported by any person on account of any other person, and such other person knows or has reason to believe that such sale, possession or transport is on his account, the notified drug shall for the purposes of this Act be deemed to have been sold, possessed or transported also by such other person.
(2) Nothing in sub-section
(1) shall absolve any person from liability to any punishment under this Act for the unlawful sale, possession or transport of such notified drug.
