On the commencement, by notification under sub-section
- (2) of section 2, of any of the provisions of this Act in the Vidarbha region of the State, the Central Provinces and Berar Cattle Diseases Act, 1934, in its application to that region, shall stand repealed : Provided that, such repeal shall not affect—
- (a) the previous operation of the Act so repealed ; or
- (b) the right or liability acquired or incurred under the Act so repealed ; or
- (c) any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against any of the provisions of the Act so repealed ; or
- (d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid ; and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced, and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed, as if this Act had not commenced in that region.
