State Vigilance Committee

On the commencement of this Act, or as soon thereafter as may be, the State Government shall appoint a State Vigilance Committee which shall consist of—

1. (i) Secretary of the Appropriate Authority as Chairman and Convener;
2. (ii) Two representatives of Voluntary Organisations;
3. (iii) The Director-General of Information and Public Relations or his representative;
4. (iv) A Gynaecologist;
5. (v) A Medical Geneticist;
6. (vi) A Civil Surgeon or Chief Medical Officer.
