Bank eligible to become member of co-operative society

Statutory text
Notwithstanding anything contained in the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, or the bye-laws of a resource society as defined in that Act or any law for the time being in force, it shall be lawful for a bank to become a member of a co-operative society.
