One Police force for the whole of the State of Maharashtra.

3. One Police Force for the 1[whole of the 2[State of Maharashtra]].- There shall be one Police Force for the 3[whole of the 4[State of Maharashtra]] 5[and such Police Force shall include every Police Officer referred to in clause (6) of section 2] : Provided that, the members of the Police Forces constituted under any of the Acts mentioned in Schedule I immediately before the coming into force of this Act 6[in the relevant part of the State] shall be deemed to be the members of the said Police Force.
