Chapter IV INSPECTION OF LIFT, ESCALATOR AND MOVING WALK AND ITS INSTALLATION
Statutory text
- (1) Any lift or escalator or moving walk in respect of which a direction issued under sub-section
- (1) of section 21 has not been carried out to the satisfaction of the Electrical Inspector (Lifts), such lift or escalator or moving walk, as the case may be, if found being used may be ordered to be sealed by the Electrical Inspector (Lifts).
- (2) An appeal against an order under sub-section(1), shall lie to the Government whose decision thereon shall be final.
