Chapter I PRELIMINARY
1. Short title and commencement

- (1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) and the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2019.
- (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 13th June 2019.

2. Amendment of FIRST SCHEDULE to Mah. XVII of 1998

In FIRST SCHEDULE appended to the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998, under the heading "
- (A) Colleges ", for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely :— "
- (1) The Mumbai Veterinary College, Mumbai. ".
