Act to override State Laws

(1) The provisions of this Act shall have effect, notwithstanding anything contained in any other State law for the time being in force. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions of this Act, such provisions shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in the applicable Acts and the provisions of the applicable Acts shall be read as amended in conformity with the provisions of this Act (3) In particular and without pre:iudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions of this Act, such provisions shall have effect not ,,.,i.thstanding anything contained in the rules and regulations made under the applicable Acts and the provisions of such rules and regulations shall be read as amended in conformity with the provisions of this Act;
