Comptroller

(1) The Comptroller shall be a whole time salaried officer of the Vishwa Vidyalaya. He shall be appointed by the Kulpati in accordance with the statutes to be made in this behalf and his emoluments and conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (2) Where any vacancy in the office of the Comptroller occurs by reason of leave, illness or any other cause, the Kulpati shall make arrangements as he deems fit, to carry on the current duties of the Comptroller. (3) The Comptroller shall -(a) exercise general supervision over the funds of the Vishwa Vidyalaya and shall advise the Board in regard to its financial policy; (b) subject to the control of the Board, manage the property and investment of the Vishwa Vidyalaya; (c) be responsible for seeing that all moneys are expended on the purpose for which they are granted or allotted and no expenditure not authorized in the budget, is incurred by the Vishwa Vidyalaya; (d) exercise such other powers as may be conferred on him by the Statutes.
