Rajmata Vijya Raje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2009

1. (1) This Act may be called the Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2009.
2. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the official Gazette.

2. In sub-section

1. (6) of Section 15 of the Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 2009 (No. 4 of 2009) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), the words and figure "or until he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier" shall be omitted.

3. In Section 50 of the principal Act,

1. (i) in sub-section (1), for the words "for a period not exceeding eighteen months", the words "for a period of four years" shall be substituted;
2. (ii) in sub-section (2), for the words "The first Vice-Chancellor shall have the following powers", the words "The first Vice-Chancellor shall have the following powers for a period of two years" shall be substituted.
