Limited period tenancy

1. (1) Where a landlord does not require the whole or any part of any premises for a particular period, he may let such or part of such premises for a specified period for residential or non-residential purposes and inform the Rent Controlling Authority in the manner provided in Section 4, and such tenancy shall automatically cease on the expiry of the limited period and the possession of the rented premises shall be reverted back to the landlord immediately.
