Statutory text

(1) The prescribed authority shall grant to every person who pays to him any tax under this Act a receipt in such form and containing such particulars as may be prescribed. [(2) The prescribed authority shall, at the time of granting the receipt, issue to the person a token or a certificate or both,as the case may be, in such form and containing such particulars as may be prescribed.] 5
(3) The person to whom such token is granted shall cause it to be exhibited in such manner as may be prescribed on a conspicuous part of the motor vehicle in respect of which the token has been granted.
