Short title, extent and commencement

Statutory text
- (1) This Act may be cited as the [ Madhya Pradesh ]2 Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1947.
- (2) It extends to the whole of Madhya Pradesh.]4
- (3) It shall come into force in the Mahakoshal region on the 1st April, 1947, and in the other regions of the State on the date of coming into force of the Madhya Pradesh Taxation Laws (Ex- tension) Act, 1957 (18 of 1957) that is on the 1st day of November, 1957.]5
